Terms of service

Effective October 5, 2026. By installing or using the Mass Email Chrome extension (“Mass Email”), published by EthanApp, you agree to these terms.

1. What Mass Email is

Mass Email helps you write emails with AI and send personalized copies from your own Gmail account. You are the sender of every email: Mass Email sends only what you prepare and start.

2. No spam

You agree not to use Mass Email to:

Honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Mass Email adds an unsubscribe line and header by default and skips addresses on your unsubscribe list.

3. Your content and contacts

You are responsible for the contact lists you import, for having the right to use them, and for everything you send. You keep all rights to your content. Mass Email stores it only on your computer (see the privacy policy).

4. AI-written text

AI can make mistakes, including wrong facts about a recipient. Review emails and personal lines before you send them. You are responsible for what you send, whoever wrote it.

5. Other services

Mass Email uses your Google account and, if you choose it, Anthropic's Claude with your own API key. Their terms apply to your use of them, including Google's daily sending limits and any Anthropic charges for your key. Google may limit or suspend accounts that break its rules; Mass Email cannot prevent that.

6. Beta, and no warranty

Mass Email is in beta and provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that emails will be delivered or reach the inbox.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EthanApp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or actions taken by Google or other providers against your account, arising from your use of Mass Email.

8. Changes and ending

We may update Mass Email and these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. You can stop using Mass Email at any time by uninstalling it.
